BFI London Film Festival 2018: Feature Films Connected to MENA

The annual BFI London Film Festival (BFI LFF) returns for the 62nd edition, bringing altogether 225 feature films this year that have been sourced from 77 countries. Always providing the most up to date films on an international scale with the screening of many world premieres, it annually hosts the work of both emerging and established directors from across the globe, making it one of the most significant and prestigious film events of the year in the UK.

Usually organised under different genres to be found online and in the official festival brochure, the only way of locating the films is to go through the relevant feature categories, which include: Galas and Special Presentations, Dare, Thrill, Laugh, Debate, Cult, Journey, Create, Family, Experimenta, Treasure and Documentary.

To make life easier for my readers - who will be interested in the feature films coming from the Arabic speaking countries of the MENA region - I have taken on the task of putting them in one place with the direct links for more information and to purchase tickets on the BFI website. Please note that the list doesn’t’ include anything from the Shorts programme.

The BFI LFF will be running over twelve days from 10-21 October, 2018 and the screenings will be held at any one of fourteen different cinema venues across London.
